Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity
The purpose of the role is to deliver professional support and services to Waka Kotahi staff, enabling them to be successful in their core business.
Working within a team of highly skilled go-to people, you will provide vital support services, some of which include building and facilities maintenance coordination, front line customer service, travel arrangements, technology support, administrative support, fleet coordination and a variety of other tasks and functions. We guarantee you no two days are ever the same.
We are looking for a highly collaborative individual with excellent communication and customer service skills.

To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Bring
- A minimum of two years’ experience in an administration role – ideally with a focus on facilities/technology/logistics
- A fantastic attitude towards your workplace and enjoy contributing towards a positive and engaged work culture
- A strong customer focus
- A collaborative working style and work well as part of a team
- The desire and ability to build strong relationships across the business
- Sound knowledge of the Microsoft Suite

You will demonstrate knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an understanding of Te Ao Māori and promote tikanga and Te Reo Māori. You will also have knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an appreciation of te Tiriti o Waitangi (the Treaty of Waitangi) as it applies in the public sector.
