Trade Marketing Manager



•Define the standard procedures and services that will make

retailers/wholesalers order in cash or credit (where applicable) and develop a

more organized in-store executions and processes.

• Adhere to all Freezelink principles and policies including Trade Terms, Credit Days, Customer Service and Legal Regulations.

• Work through a team to drive sales through negotiation with customers

• Be accountable to the achievement of agreed customer targets i.e., sell-outs and ensure brilliant execution of activities in selected channels

• Ensure execution of the customer/vendor business plan through collaboration with Field Sales Personnel and Account Managers.

• Facilitate and execute the customer engagement strategy to strengthen the business relationships and support long term plans

• Regularly coach Key Account Managers/ Supervisors, Sales Personnel on standard ways of selling and improving customer relationships

• Work collaboratively with Field Sales Executives to develop new channels of sales


• A minimum of five (5) years of experience playing the same or similar role with

successful achievement of KPIs

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams

• An excellent or working knowledge in marketing and how Marketing and

Sales Functions operate will be imperative

• A clear demonstration of business savviness

Great presentation and report writing skills

• A minimum of two years of field experience working in FMCG will be


• Lucid understanding of distributor/retailer business operations and ability to

turn useful insights into value propositions

• Must be driven and have persuasive selling skills

• A leader with the ability to motivate and develop people
