Store Manager – Retail Supermarkets
Responsible for overseeing, managing and maximizing the entire business operations including Produce, Bakery, Deli, Meat, Dairy, Frozen Foods, Vitamins, Bulk Foods and all other areas of the store.
Manage up to 80 associates, 2 Assistant Managers and 7 Department Heads.
Grow sales, control losses to revenue and ensure high work ethics, productivity, daily inventory valuation, gross margin, training and development, merchandising strategies, budgets and schedules.
Responsible for the efficient and profitable operations of the store, including all departments – ensuring cleanliness, safety and a well-stocked inventory.
Accountable for profits and losses, hiring and termination of employees, disciplinary actions, team member training and development, inventory, sales promotion execution and merchandising.
Managing staff issues, department managers, customer concerns, community relations, compliance with store policies and other administrative duties.
Position reports to Regional Manager
5+ years’ retail grocery chain management experience.
Strong leadership and customer service skills.
Analytical and reporting skills.
Ability to multi-task, organized, creative, goal driven and energetic.
Salary $75 – $80K + $30K annual living allowance ($105-110K), + 18% performance bonus, 50% paid Company Health Plan, 3 weeks’ vacation, 11 paid holidays, product discounts and $3K relocation assistance.
