Special Projects Manager

About Us:

We are the world’s first tattoo removal consumer brand, living at the intersection of step-change technology, personalised healthcare and body empowerment. A mission lead business our aim is to change the perception that a tattoo is always “for life”.

After almost a decade in stealth mode where we have been commercialising our innovative, world-class solution for tattoo removal, we are now embarking on a period of significant global growth to take this proprietary medical technology to market with a growing portfolio of premium studios.

Our intention is to disrupt a $billion industry through game changing technology, an unrivalled consumer experience and by hiring the very best talent across our R&D, commercial and studio teams.

We are an entrepreneurial and dedicated team who play to win. The pace is fast, and our expectations are high, so we are looking to hire amazing people who will challenge the status quo and want to be a part of the next exciting stage in our journey.

About you

We welcome all applicants and strongly encourage those who have worked in consultancy, PE, VC, or investment banking for at least 3-5 years.

You’ll have left, or be thinking of leaving, before the corporate world makes you stale. You’ll be yearning to do real work and make a genuine impact. You’re keen to get into the operational field and out of your comfort zone.

You will be energised by the prospect of joining a fast-paced, dynamic team and will be keen to throw your all into a new role.

Business development, creating models and spreadsheets, corralling colleagues and partners and delivering tangible results drives you. You are not held back nor preoccupied by what it says in your job description. You’re a self-starter. A problem-solver. A hustler. You have lists, you have priorities, and you obsess about the end-goal and thrive on the journey. You hit your deadlines.

You are commercially savvy, numerically astute and have the charm and charisma to match, ensuring colleagues embrace your special projects with the open-armed- enthusiasm they deserve. You have strong quantitative skills and can read financial statements and model business plans. You’re a storyteller. With strong communication skills, you can craft an impactful narrative in presentations, memos and other mediums.

Regardless of your experience, you have intellectual curiosity in the top 1% of anyone you’ve ever met. You’ll need to be a highly motivated human with an insatiable appetite to make things happen.

About the role

Whilst the nature of this role is difficult to define in a list of bullet points, you can rest assured that you will be managing projects that are going to move the needle in the business over the long term.

There will be huge variability in the type of projects you will manage at any one point in time from the negotiation and implementation of new payment methods through to building and developing our next big revenue stream, you could be supporting with the scope and delivery of clinical trials or creating commercial models to identify where we should open our next NAAMA Studio.

Whatever the subject matter, your curious mind will enjoy learning and you’ll be able to build base level knowledge quickly. Like an organic sea sponge, you’ll have a positive impact on your environment and will absorb the knowledge and expertise of those around you. You’ll be confident building knowledge by primary research; finding experts and discussing, rather than spending hours trawling the world wide web.
