About The Role

Our client in the information technology industry, is seeking for a salesperson to drive our solution deals to their conclusion. Someone with the appetite for the risk of a start-up, who is also able to make the most of access to the extensive network of an established IT service provider. The right person for this role will be expected to be a hunter and perform the role of Business Development.

They will be responsible for identifying needs and pain points at customers, and working with the solution delivery team to put together solutions that deliver true value to customers.

The ideal candidate should have an understanding of SaaS, IT Security benefits and ECT compliance.

Criteria

  • Bachelor Degree preferred
  • Bachelor degree with a concentration in marketing, sales, or business administration preferred
  • 5+ years of enterprise level SaaS sales experience preferred, ideally within cloud-based technology– includes experience managing various accounts
  • Track record of over-achieving quota (top 10-20% of company) in past positions
  • Experience managing and closing complex sales-cycles, including prior success in closing R1M deals and managing multiple large accounts
  • Strong portfolio of C-Level contacts within Enterprise Accounts across a variety of accounts
  • Proven record of successful deals closed
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite
  • At least five (5) years of IT sales experience is required

Responsibilities

  • Identifies customers based on product, market fit
  • Is able to understand and effectively communicate product value and customer fit
  • Qualifies customers using product related metrics, budget qualification and solution fit
  • Competitive environment monitoring, evaluation and strategy
  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing sales reports, and making recommendations to management
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops through partners, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
  • Contribute to the success of the companies goals and objectives through achieving and exceeding individual and company sales targets
