Sales Force Effectiveness Manager.

The primary role of the Sales Force Effectiveness Manager is to lead and implement sales processes and drive change for both the Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices sector in the Hospital Channel. The role manages day-to-date reporting and analysis activities to provide key data information and insights to enable decision makers to make informed current business and future strategy and/or initiative decisions to achieve business objectives.
Role Responsibilities
Strategy
- Design and implement effective customer call planning and targeting tools to support on-going sales promotion and assist management in evaluating sales productivity/performance
- Develop tailored dashboards/reports to monitor performance data and track progress ensuring they are easy to use and implement for the end user
- Manage reporting, monitoring and analysis of performance data, and sales activities to support recommendations to sales teams
- Provide recommendations on data to use, calendarization methodology, variable weighting, and best practices
- Develop transparent analytics and measurements and ensure standards are realistically set and maintained for all programs
Enablement
- Monitor and analyze sales team performance on multiple quantitative and qualitative KPIs to provide conclusive reports and recommendations adapted to support the Commercial Excellence agenda
- Support strategy to improve efficiencies and enable enhanced capabilities to deliver advancement in business analytics, sales force effectiveness, and information management
- Lead i-Connect team on day-to-day maintenance, troubleshooting, management of territory changes – acts as administrator on i-Connect system for the Hospital Channel
- Review KPI metrics to ensure compliance with guidelines and in consultation with Business Unit Leaders
Programs
- Provide tailored programs for territory design and alignment for the Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices sectors
- Deliver scalable solutions that integrate within the Commercial technology and processes ecosystem; ability to have a broad perspective and consider implications beyond the explicit requirements
Others
- Proactively assess and recommend solutions to develop SFE in collaboration with SEA SFE
- Manage multiple projects and deliver consistently to the expectations of different stakeholders
Qualifications
Functional & technical skill requirements
- In-depth knowledge of CRM reporting systems
- In-depth knowledge of the development and implementation of programs to include Territory Design, Territory Alignment and Segmentation & Targeting
- High business acumen with ability to manage multiple projects with precision and accuracy in a very fast-paced environment
- Strong communication, leadership and project execution and delivery skills are essential
- Real-word experience in sales force excellence
- Understanding and knowledge of therapeutic areas optional
Relevant Experience Requirements
- 1- 2 years’ experience in pharmaceutical industry or agency in a Sales Force Excellence role, experience in Pharmaceutical sales is desirable
- Proven project management experience
- Excellent organization, multi-tasking, project management skills
- High level of computer literacy with in-depth knowledge and efficiency in Excel and Powerpoint and mapping packages; experience with databases
- Experience of working as part of cross-functional teams
