The Role 

We are hiring a mid level Sales Development Representative to join our growing Revenue team! In this role you will drive growth for new sales through outbound prospecting. We’re looking for results-driven individuals to engage with prospective customers and qualify leads as sales opportunities. You’ll be successful if you are an effective communicator, team player, and are comfortable with the fast pace and ambiguity of early stage startups. You’ll join a small scrappy team of dedicated sales professionals who are driven by the idea that we’re making a world where ability – not birthplace – determines opportunity!


This is a remote position. We are accepting applicants from all around the world.


  • Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects as well as finding and engaging new prospects
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage sales executives for next steps
  • Identify and qualify new sales opportunities for Account Executives 
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to plan and execute outbound campaigns and demonstrate the value of our services
  • Manage a pipeline of companies and individuals looking for immigration support
  • Generate email, social media, cold calling and other outreach campaigns that produce strong qualified leads
  • Diligently update SalesForce to stay current on leads and follow-ups
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities
  • Work closely with manager to report and review weekly, monthly, and quarterly results to drive improvements

Definition of Success

  • 2+ years of experience as an Sales Development Representative
  • Thorough understanding of Salesforce and a desire to further develop our process driven approach to sales
  • Excellent time management and follow through – you won’t let a single opportunity fall through the cracks!
  • Brilliant communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. You should be a great writer, speaker, and listener.
  • Fearlessness – willing to hop on zoom with new people every single day and explain Legalpad’s value proposition as it relates to each individual you speak with.
  • An obsession with prospect happiness – set the stage for effective sales follow-ups and a positive client experience.
  • The courage to challenge the status quo when logic and reason require it. See something broken? Fix it.

  • A deep understanding of email communication. You keep the inbox at zero.
