Hiring: We are looking to hire an India-based Research Analyst for a short-term (3 months with potential to extend) to join our team at Alstonia Impact. The selected candidate will work as part of an international and a highly interdisciplinary team of globally recognized experts in strategy, public health, market research, data science and product development. She/he will help disrupt the status quo (which sees a rather lethargic rate of innovation) in a critical area within Public Health.

Responsibilities

1. Coordinate with data collection agencies spread across the globe, from different nationalities and cultures.

2. Support in overseeing training of fieldworkers, monitoring pilot testing and data collection

3. Provide technical support by conducting data quality checks during fieldwork and co-ordinate with field teams to ensure that the quality issues are addressed as soon as possible.

4. Track response rates regularly during fieldwork

5. Address any immediate concerns from the field work agencies during fieldwork

6. Contribute to interim and final data analysis

7. Conduct literature reviews and prepare summaries for this project and other projects in public health

8. Contribute to Alstonia Impact’s other projects in Public Health and other areas

Profile / Skills Required

1. An advanced degree (Master’s) in Economics, Statistics, or related field

2. Prior experience in a project with large-scale quantitative data collection and coordination with field teams is a plus

READ:   Data Analyst

3. Proficiency in any statistical software, preferably STATA

4. Passion for highly quality primary research

5. Mature, self-directed individual with ability to balance multiple tasks and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines

6. Excellent oral and written English and Hindi communication skills

Location: Remote – we are open to candidates from anywhere in India.

Compensation: A competitive stipend will be provided
