We are looking for a well-organised person with business acumen to undertake the position of Regional Coordinator to oversee and grow our services within the Hills region. 

In addition to ensuring that high quality, effective services are delivered to clients, this role will be proactive in identifying opportunities to develop new services, and innovating existing ones. If you are good at building relationships with clients and stakeholders, are a change leader, and can seek to expand the possibilities for people with disability, then this role may be for you. 

Based from our Mount Barker Office and reporting to the Director Client Services, your duties will include but won’t be limited to:

  • Coordinate and lead the delivery of services for the region
  • Review current service offerings and look for opportunities to innovate, create diverse programs and expand our reach to meet demand in and around the Hills region
  • Collaborate with Disability SA, NDIA, other service providers, community programs, facilities and businesses
  • Ensure high-quality services that provide dignity, opportunity and diverse ways for clients to achieve their goals
  • Recruit, induct and maintain a workforce that meets the needs of the clients and standards of the organisation
  • Develop, motivate and lead staff, fostering a positive workplace culture where staff feel engaged, empowered and supported
  • Support and empower Team Leader to carry out duties working collaboratively to achieve positive client outcomes
  • Respond to Emergency situations or incidents as directed by the Director Client Services

The successful candidate is required to meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Diploma in Disability, Community, Management, Social or Human Services or equivalent experience
  • Obtain and maintain an NDIS Worker Check
  • Obtain and maintain DHS Working with Children Check (previously Child-Related Clearance)
  • Obtain and maintain DHS General Employment Probity Check
  • Class 1 Drivers Licence

Demonstrated strong leadership with experience in managing teams, you will have the ability to motivate, lead and support staff. Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills are a must along with sound working knowledge of administrative procedures and practice, including contract compliance.
