The Project Engineer reports to the Section Leader Roads & Highways and in your role as Project Engineer, you will be responsible for providing provide engineering capability to our project teams both in the design office and in the field. The role includes managing Jacobs risk on proposals, projects and on-site delivery by undertaking engineering supervision, design and project management tasks. The role also provides technical expertise across civil, road and rail infrastructure projects and includes involvement in the development of proposals, contracts and supervising less experienced staff in the matters of civil engineering and construction, GID and remote teams. #ANZTransport #APMETransport #ANZRoads #ANZHighways #APACTransport #NZTransport

Here’s What You’ll Need

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
  • Vast civil / roads design experience (predominantly in NZ).
  • Demonstrated project delivery experience in the use of Civil3d or OpenRoads design software.
  • Understandng of New Zealand Road Design and Civil Design Standards
  • Applied understanding of CAD standards and practices.
  • Sound skills in written and verbal communication
  • Strong achievement orientation, and self motivated
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently
