Job Description & Summary

You’ll work in our Consulting and Infrastructure businesses within the Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) team, that  supports business and technology solutions to help transform Australian businesses and governments and create value and improve the way they work. As a project and/or program delivery specialist, you’ll add value to our projects by supporting the transformation, design and delivery of the future solutions that we deliver for our clients.

What will you create?

You’ll work in the Adelaide Skilled Service Hub PPM capability and  support the transformation, design and delivery of  important organisational, business and operational improvements to our major client projects. Working in the Skilled Service Hub, you will bring this to life by providing strategic advice in project, and project, portfolio & program management expertise. Your contribution will help deliver sustained outcomes which create value for individuals, communities, businesses and Government.

As a Program & Project Management (PPM) Analyst , you will support the Program/Project Manager and/or Project Management Office (PMO) Manager in the day to day management of project work, reporting on the project outcomes and execution of project administration. Your work will vary depending on the client delivery outcomes and project phase. It will be defined by each program’s governance and project and quality plans, however, it will primarily involve reporting, process management and, team operations. You will work closely with the project team members in:

  • preparing project status reporting, supporting governance meetings, collating and following through meeting actions and compiling and analysing information to support benefits realisation and project cost delivery
  • supporting core project delivery in schedule management, scope management, risk & issue management, quality management, resource management and financial management
  • enabling both project and proposal teams to operate more effectively by being involved in administrative activities such as scheduling, action logging, diary coordination, template management, access management and document storage.  

In addition,  you may work with senior team members in the management and preparation of client proposals. This will involve team logistics, planning, action and drafting and or compiling key components of the proposal.  

About you

You have a strong interest in building a career in the Adelaide Skilled Service Hub to support our diverse project teams to manage the delivery of client outcomes through governance, project, portfolio and program management and PMO services across any project.

Due to the security requirements to access the data involved in delivering our projects, you must be an Australian Citizen who has, OR is willing to obtain a minimum government NV1 Security Clearance.

You’re in your final year of uni, recently graduated or completed a relevant TAFE certificate/diploma in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Commerce, Economics, Actuarial, Engineering, Project Management, or Information Technology.

You have an interest in project management, have good verbal and written presentation skills, have excellent organisational skills, and have attention to detail. 

You’re collaborative and enjoy working in an innovative environment, connecting with teams across the country via modern workplace technologies.

Ideally but not required, you would have an understanding of common project management methodologies and potentially be working towards certifications in this area.
