People Services Specialist – Transformation & OE CoE Support

Job Purpose:

The GSSC People Services Specialist is responsible in delivering efficient and quality HR administration support to the business, managing requests through the HR Helpdesk platform, working within defined service level agreements.

Works within an agreed service area as part of a centralized GSSC People Services Team. Provides second tier support for more specialist processes and acts as an escalation point where a process cannot be managed within the first tier of the service model. The role also requires processing of complex requests which require analysis, investigation, critical thinking and collaboration with colleagues and 3rd parties.

This role will be initially assigned to support Transformation and OE CoE with Expedition DNA and Base Camp Administration and Maintenance.

Key Accountabilities:

Base Camp Content Support

• Support content updates for entry into Base Camp system for which we will provide training.

• Editing written content for upload

• Create graphics for the program or coordinate the creation of graphics with graphic designers; coordinate videography; do simple video editing tasks for which we will provide training

• Coordinate and follow up with stakeholders for content updates in line with the project plan and deadlines for delivery

• Monitor update timelines and escalate any delays against project plans – ensuring that potential delays in deliverables are escalated prior to the deadlines so that appropriate remediation can be made

• Uploading of content for new modules (6 currently in the backlog- each takes 3-6 months for delivery)

• Works within a defined process area and provides specialist Subject Matter Expertise on both process/ regional requirements.

• Analyze requests and perform the necessary action by providing answers and/or initiating in scope processes.


• Graduate of any bachelor’s degree.

• Ability to manage written content, and coordinate graphics & videography,

• Design oriented (but not necessarily a need to be able to do graphic design)

• Coordination skills and the confidence to follow and chase people up for deliverables.

• Strong time management skills and the ability to operate to a project plan.

• Outcomes oriented, with the confidence to escalate matters before they create delays in the project plan

• High levels of personal organization, including prioritizing work and deliverables to timeframes, and reporting on actions

• Understands HR Shared Services concept and its key deliverables.

• Ability to prioritize and complete workload within a high pressurized environment.

• Demonstrates success in establishing and maintaining professional networks.

• Above average oral and written communication skills.

• Process oriented and keen attention to details

• Applicant must be willing to work on a night shift schedule 9pm to 6am

• Work from home until further notice
