The Role:



The Paid Advertising Analyst will be responsible for managing our paid ad campaigns and ensuring our paid online marketing efforts have the highest possible return-on-investment (ROI).  The ideal candidate will have experience driving traffic and leads through successful Google Adwords, Social Campaigns ( LinkedIn, FB, IG & Twitter)and BING campaigns.  The Paid Analyst will work with our US-based creative and analytics teams and is expected to be available for scheduled and ad hoc calls through 12PM EST.   

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop paid search strategies, primarily focused on PPC & Social channels but will eventually expand to include other paid advertising channels 
  • Monitor competitive PPC/ Social Campaigns ( LinkedIn, FB, IG & Twitter l activity, make recommendations and modify campaigns based on findings 
  • Launching and optimizing PPC/ Social Campaigns ( LinkedIn, FB, IG & Twitter campaigns, including conducting A/B tests 
  • Develop keyword selection and audience targeting 
  • Provide guidance on ad copy to best optimize the unit 
  • Monitor bids & budgets to gain better ROI 
  • Monitor and evaluate search results and search performance 
  • Overseeing search platform accounts 
  • Track KPIs to assess performance and highlight any issues 
  • Produce reports for management and collaborate on reporting with Marketing Analytics on dashboards 
  • Keep abreast of search engine marketing industry trends 
  • Must be knowledgeable in preventing click fraud  
  • Create and manage negative keywords for campaigns 
  • Develop and execute other paid search channels as needed 

 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Proficient in excel 
  • Ability to learn new industries and new business types quickly and can apply this knowledge to internet marketing 
  • Proven PPC/Social experience for a minimum of 3 to 4 years 
  • Familiarity with multiple platforms (eg Adwords, BING, LinkedIn, FB/IG,  Unbounce) 
  • Working knowledge of analytics tools (Google Analytics, Google Trends, Google Search Console) 
  • Adwords certification is a plus 
  • Proficient in monitoring and managing dynamic campaigns  
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, project management and time management skills 
  • Strong verbal as well as written communication skills 
  • Keen eye for details
