Marketing & Events Coordinator


Job Summary

The Marketing & Events Coordinator is responsible for developing and implementing marketing support activities to deliver against the business objectives of the organization and increase stakeholder engagement across assigned markets.  


  • Provide support to marketing leads on annual marketing plan per business line and country outpost whilst recommending established media, resources and processes to support Bank’s KPI’s and strategies
  • Contribute to the development and execution of campaigns which support new product launches, promotions, general awareness, usage and acquisition, regulatory/compliance communication, activation, up-sell/cross-sell and loyalty initiatives
  • Provide detailed schedules which outline timing of campaign elements, milestones, critical inputs per stakeholder and regular project plan/status updates
  • Prepare event briefs for campaigns/promotions and launches including marketing copy
  • Independently coordinate marketing events, including overseeing logistics, managing registrations, coordinating with vendors, creating itineraries, ordering marketing collateral
  • Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure high-quality and timely execution of marketing programs, and to ensure competitiveness
  • Prepare monthly marketing activity reports and metrics for measuring program success
  • Create, proofread and edit copy for diverse marketing channels, ensuring consistent branch voice 
  • Identification and interpretation of key business trends and findings unique to the industry


The ideal candidate should possess: 

  • Expert knowledge of all facets of marketing, experience in marketing, developing consumer insight driven communications including integrated marketing planning and delivery
  • Strong collaborator with excellent communication skills who can partner and influence businesses
  • Good understanding of customer/consumer and market dynamics
  • Excellent writing, communication, proof reading and presentation skills
  • Resourceful and able to work within tight deadlines


  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in marketing, developing consumer insight driven communications including integrated marketing campaigns
  • Undergraduate University Degree in Mass Communication, Marketing or related field
  • Proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite, especially with Excel and PowerPoint
