The Role

The Marketing Analytics and Operations team at Frontline drives high impact insights, utilizing large data sets across multiple platforms with analytics and data science tools to ensure the marketing team successfully delivers a great customer experience and go to market strategy that is repeatable, sustainable, and scalable. The Marketing Analytics Manager role will ensure marketing information is monitored, properly presented, and explained through reporting and analysis for effective decision making at all levels of management, up to, and including, Frontline’s Executive Leadership team.

You will report to the VP, Go-to-Market Strategy & Operations and be part of the Frontline Marketing Ops team. The Marketing Analytics Manager role is key to providing data-driven, actionable insights and analysis for critical decisions to optimize how we engage with our prospects and customers, and how we execute marketing campaigns. You will monitor the integrity of our Marketing analytics to ensure data accuracy while leading the creation of automated processes for collection of insightful and actionable data.


  • Lead team of marketing analytics and data professionals to enable marketing business outcomes
  • Oversee development of interactive visuals and dashboards in the CRM and marketing analytics tools
  • Collaborate with the teams across the Marketing department to identify opportunities to drive awareness, interest and ultimately new pipeline and customer acquisition
  • Team with Marketing leadership to manage, monitor and evolve our Marketing Scorecard, providing our Marketing team with actionable insight to refine our Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy, GTM Plays, and other initiatives to optimize performance against key business metrics
  • Report on marketing KPIs and campaign performance, including email metrics (delivery, open, click-through rates), leads, conversion rates, website traffic and social media engagement, and event registrations as well as new marketing channels
  • Lead efforts to grow the team’s ability to utilize predictive models and/or machine learning tools to drive marketing campaign success
  • Expand analytics capabilities to include multi-touch attribution and ROI reporting
  • Create proposals and presentations with actionable insights for Marketing leadership and senior executives as well as implementation plans for new ops processes
  • Conduct research and analyze benchmarking data
  • Ensure prospect/customer data integrity in our Customer Relationship Management System- Salesforce
  • Oversee data hygiene processes and manage data vendor relationships
  • Work with data & analytics teams across departments to support company-wide initiatives
  • Oversee the continual optimization of data processes to achieve optimal efficiency and accuracy (e.g., automated Business Intelligence)
  • Oversee lead processing activities to ensure internal SLA’s are met

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) in marketing, analytics, data science, or business or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of work experience in marketing analytics roles at B2B SaaS companies
  • Hands-on experience working with marketing tools and systems (including familiarity with Marketo, Salesforce, and PowerBI or equivalent systems)
  • Solid understanding of marketing principles, standard metrics (MQL’s, SAL’s, SQL’s, etc.), and lead generation tactics
  • Exhibit an ability to investigate business questions and bring actionable insights to enable improvements in our Marketing Strategy (e.g., ROI methodology, A/B testing, goal setting, predictive modeling, etc.)
  • At least 1 year of people management experience
  • Experience extracting data insights utilizing programing languages such as SQL, R or Python strongly preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple workloads and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Being detail-oriented is a MUST
  • Technical proficiencies in MS Office applications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are needed
  • Passion for, interest in, and knowledge of the K-12 Education market a plus
