As a Lecturer, you will showcase your knowledge and experience in Cultural Geography in the areas of teaching and research. The Lecturer will also be involved in advancing the School of Science at UNSW Canberra’s international profile by conducting scholarly research, contributing to the supervision of research students and teaching a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered by the School of Science.
This is a great opportunity to join at a time of growth for the UNSW Campus, with the unique opportunity to educate the undergraduate students of the Australian Defence Force Academy. UNSW Canberra has made investment into the teaching and research infrastructure of the Geography department.
About The Role
Role: Lecturer (Cultural Geography)
Salary: Level B: $110,459 – $ 130,215 plus 17% Superannuation
Term: Fixed Term, 5 years Full-time

About the Successful Applicants
- Hold a PhD in an area of Human Geography or cognate Social Science disciplines.
- An emerging record of excellence in research and publication
- The ability to support and teach both introductory and specialist courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level
