Executing on this commitment, end of 2020 two new platforms were implemented across Syngenta – Degreed as the learning experience platform and Docebo as the learning management system. The primary goal has been to reshape the learning culture and empower learners to drive their own development putting the learner and learner’s experience at the center. Syngenta is changing the learning delivery support model by setting up a Global Learning Delivery Team to provide a truly user-centric, intelligent and reliable support to nurture learning culture and facilitate the empowerment.

The purpose of the Learning Delivery Advisor role is to act as a key partner and learning advocate for Learning Administrators to provide them with a customized consultancy, intelligent advice and solutioning as well as ongoing training and reliable knowledge of learning platforms and Syngenta learning approach. This includes understanding well the Syngenta learning ecosystem, close partnership with the team and learning community. As the role is new, the scope of accountabilities is likely to evolve.

Accountabilities

  • Act as a trusted direct point of contact to Learning Administrators – this includes capturing their requirements through a service request form and assigning to relevant delivery team for resolution
  • Deliver intelligent solutions, reliable knowledge and technical know-how to Learning Administrators to resolve their needs and non-standard challenges
  • Deliver user-centric consulting and expert advice to Learning Administrators on queries related to a use of learning platforms, their functionalities and learning processes
  • Assist Learning Administrators with the services available through the Global Learning Service Catalogue
  • Gather new learning business requirements from Learning Administrators
  • Liaise with members of the Global Learning Delivery Team and vendor technology experts to understand end-to-end system functionalities, planned upgrades and possible enhancements
  • Be an active member of Practitioners’ and Learning Administrators’ networks and establish and maintain trusted partnership with the learning community and Group Learning CoE
  • Develop and maintain various user support materials and knowledge articles
  • Promote and advocate the use of learning frameworks, support materials and best practices
  • Manage user support cases through a dedicated case management system
  • Adhere to the established learning and operational governance frameworks and ways of working
  • Provide Learning Administrator training support to Group Learning CoE
  • Provide testing support to Group Learning CoE for technology changes
  • Propose and implement improvements across learning processes with direction by Group Learning CoE
  • Co-create the learning delivery support model focused on the users and their experience
  • Co-create ways of working for the Global Learning Delivery Team to enable agile operations

Qualifications

Knowledge, experience & capabilities

Critical Technical Knowledge And Experience

  • 5 years of consulting experience
  • Working experience with learning platforms as an administrator
  • Relevant experience of successfully serving demanding customers spread across geographies and cultures by providing user-centric and intelligent technical solutions, advice and support
  • Effective listening and excellent communications skills
  • Successful track record of influencing and building credible relationships with stakeholders
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a track record of leading yourself and working effectively in teams across disciplines within a matrix environment globally
  • Proven ability to work in ambiguity and deliver under pressure in a fast-paced environment

  • Advanced customer service skills including ability to handle complaints and difficult situations
  • Ability to understand user’s needs and translate those into feasible, practical and sustainable solutions

Education Required

  • Degree educated in relevant subject or equivalent expertise gained on the ground
  • Proficient English language skills
