Position Details
Summary of Duties:
Under general direction, the ITS Procurement and Service Order Specialist is to act as primary purchaser in support of Information Technology Services (ITS) ongoing operations. Review ITS service orders for completeness. Input and coordinate hourly appointments. Provide support of ITS recruitment, facility administration, and intra-campus agreement support as needed. Provides information to customers to explain policies, rules, and regulations. Maintain and improve ITS fiscal records for audit preparedness.
Required Qualifications
Three years of fiscal record keeping experience; OR equivalent education/experience.

- Demonstrated customer service experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in higher education.
- Three years purchasing and accounts payable experience relating to information technology.
- Working knowledge of WSU policies and procedures relating to purchasing, accounts payable, and personnel issues.
- Experience with Workday or equivalent ERP systems.
- Demonstrated ability to use independent judgment, tact and diplomacy.
- Demonstrated ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.
