Full Stack (Java Script / Serverless) Developer

Rendr, one of Australia’s most exciting tech startups is now on the hunt for a Full Stack Developer to play a critical role in our initial growth phase. 

Our data-driven delivery technology provides tools for retail merchants to serve the next generation of online consumers, with a wide range of products spanning, e-commerce delivery extensions, Australia’s first Delivery On Demand marketplace as well as intelligent B2B logistics software.

As a Full Stack Developer in our Melbourne-based team, you’ll be charged with developing our game-changing suite of products. Working closely with one of Australia’s top rated digital agencies & their highly skilled technical team, you will also enjoy working closely with a wide range of SMB through to Enterprise merchants & marketplace sellers, many considered Australia & the world’s leading direct to consumer brands.

Responsibilities will include:

• Working with the product and integration teams and our digital agency partner to scope, design, and implement new features to the Rendr platforms
• Collaborating with merchants and our agency digital partner to scope and implement integrations with key platforms and partner systems
• Assisting in the implementation and oversight of integrations with a wide range of e-commerce, logistics, and data feed platforms developed both internally and by external development partners.
• Working with the Head of Integration to continually develop and refine the standards and approach of the Rendr platform as we scale. 

Skills You’ll Need

• Experience: Minimum of 5+ years development experience in a full-time development role handling end-to-end delivery of web projects in relevant technologies & platforms.
• Demonstrated experience with scoping, developing & delivering features for integrated, API-driven web applications with both front and backend elements. 
• Solid & well-established skills with Javascript frameworks such as Express & React. Experience with serverless technologies will be highly desirable. 
• A solid understanding & experience with the common tools for a continuous integration pipeline – source control (GIT), build & deployment tools for the respective frameworks. 
• Experience specific to E-commerce &/or logistics applications would be highly desirable.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform would be a plus, but not essential.
