Facilities Specialist


Ibex Nicaragua is looking for a facilities Specialist. This will be a temp to hire employment which may eventually turn into a Core Position.

The Facilities Specialist is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the maintenance and general facilities supervision to include sanitation of IBEX.

Essential Functions


  • Responsible for daily walk through of the center to check for any major issues.
  • Maintain site cleanliness by ensuring floors, carpet and trash are cared for on a regular schedule.
  • Provide Front Desk assistance.
  • Work with the site vendors to maintain schedules and support as  needed.
  • Maintain and keep inventory of supplies, keys, lockers, furniture, etc.
  • Proactively seek out and implement facilities improvement including site up keeping.
  • Check all cubicles, chairs and ceilings tiles daily for stains.
  • Check in with Facility manager throughout the day for any open issues related to facilities.
  • Communicate any unresolved service issues to the Facility Manager on a timely basis.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and support of IBEX GLOBAL’s commitment to Excellence.
  • Execute all duties assigned to the highest standard.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities


  • Professional attitude, enthusiastic, and disciplined work ethic.
  • Effective written and verbal English language communication skills.
  • Strong MS Office skills. MS Excel intermediate knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong and effective analytical capabilities.
  • Must be able to work independently and follow through on assignments with minimal supervision.
  • Exceptional active listening and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Previous maintenance or facilities supervision experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of maintenance and cleaning.
  • Maintain and keep inventory of supplies, keys, lockers, furniture, etc.
