Customer Service Representative (Teller)

Job Summary:

The successful candidate must be able to attain and exceed customer service and sales goals by providing outstanding customer service and accurately and efficiently processing customers’ transactions according to the Fidelity Group policies and branch operating procedures. Additionally, the incumbent must possess working knowledge and the ability to refer and sell the Bank products and services.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service in assisting Bank customers courteously and professionally while efficiently processing their transactions per Fidelity Group policies and procedures.
  • Accepting deposits of both checks and cash and validating deposit slips.
  • Processing cash withdrawals
  • Receiving payments, loans, and credit cards
  • Verifying customers before receiving or paying out cash.
  • Maintain cash within authorized limits at all times as stipulated in Fidelity Group policy and procedure.
  • As custodian of cash, maintain a zero balance daily and keep minimal to no posting errors
  • To answer queries and to assist customers with account-related issues.
  • To carry out specialized tasks like foreign currency exchange, issuing of drafts.
  • Assessing customer needs and introduce new products and services
  • Making sales referrals, suggest alternate channels, and cross-sell products and service
  • Go the “extra mile” to build trust relationships, customer loyalty, and satisfaction
  • Comply with regulatory requirements
  • Scan relevant documentation to the FIS system

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); with one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to apply integrity and professionalism to work practices keeping in line with the company’s standards and guidelines and having a cooperative manner with work tasks, and taking instructions.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills are required, as well as strong verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective administration skills are essential, with good attention to detail and accuracy and a team-oriented and results-driven approach.
  • Proficient in the function of Microsoft Office suite and any other required Company programs.
  • Cash handling
  • Excellent sales skills

Salary Range: CI$23,450.00 – $35,150.00
