Customer Service Delivery Manager

Currently, we are on the hunt for two Christchurch based Service Delivery Managers to join our experienced Customer Success team at Datam.

Working at Datam – the customer communications arm of NZ Post – you’ll join one of the largest customer communications management businesses in New Zealand. We manage the interaction between many of New Zealand’s largest organisations; Government Agencies and their customers.

We’ve got experienced people working in an agile environment and engaging with our customers across multiple channels. Our customer’s communication data is processed and formatted by our market-leading technology into meaningful communications. A big focus for us now is on our digital technology as our customers require options that complement traditional print channels.

About The Role

In this role you’ll join a team of knowledgeable and supportive Service Delivery Managers nationally focussed on business retention, growth through opportunity identification and the promotion of Datam to ensure new and repeat business within existing accounts.

It’s a fast paced and varied role that will see you managing accurate end-to-end workflow for our customers, identifying opportunities, keeping customers and internal teams up to date and on track and ensuring our customers always receive quality and efficient service.

You’ll prepare quotes, reports, contracts, change requests and invoices, co-ordinate resolution of customer problems and create and maintain opportunities and information in key business tools.

You will be involved in work from client briefings right the way through to the final output. This will bring challenges as well as rewards when you see the final product is delivered for our customers and communities.

A Bit About You

To succeed in this role, you’ll have a few years’ experience as an Account Manager or Service Delivery manager ideally with some Digital Communications and Project Management involvement.

You’ll need to adapt your excellent communication skills to differing situations, ensuring teams are informed and kept on track and on target. You’ll have strong relationship management skills to deal with multiple customers and internal teams, plus look to identify business opportunities to add value.

The workload in this role varies from short daily tasks to more intense and focussed campaigns, therefore you’ll need to be adaptable and agile in your daily work and be able to handle multiple and changing priorities with ease.
