CAP3 is a consulting firm that specializes in providing management accounting and fractional accounting department services for businesses with annual revenue ranging from $1-$50 million. We work alongside our clients to ensure they have all the financial information they need to be successful in reaching their professional and personal goals.
So what do we do for our clients? Well, first and foremost we build the accounting department, processes, and functions from the ground up. We dive deep into the current accounting platform, review and clean up the financials, implement internal controls, foster relationships with and train the current staff, develop custom reporting, hold strategy sessions with the owners and much, much more.

Now that you know what we do, here’s what we’re looking for:
You should be a natural born problem solver. The thought of taking on a new challenge should excite you, not frighten you. You must be looking to be a part of something bigger than yourself, not simply a «job». As a rapidly growing company we are looking for talented individuals who are excited about having an integral role in building a world class organization.
New ideas are always welcome and are the foundation of remaining a business nimble enough to pivot both internally and externally for our clients in the ever-changing environments they face. You must possess excellent communication skills, and not just with clients but with coworkers. You must not be afraid to admit when you need help, because you will definitely need help at times.
Finally, you must be comfortable in your own skin, and not have to be a different person in the office than you are out of the office.
As for prerequisites, having a CPA license is a big plus but is not a requirement. Having prior experience in management accounting is required, ideally 2-5 years in industry or 3 plus years in a public firm. Tax knowledge and client point of contact experience are big pluses as well.
Customer service skills are mandatory, as is the desire to learn and grow. Having a good sense of humor and an ability to connect with other accounting types is the biggest plus, and an absolute requirement.
