Ideally, we would prefer a candidate available immediately, open to Fixed Duration Contracts for between 12 and 24 months, however, all candidates will be reviewed based on relevant industry experience.
Minimum requirements to meet for consideration:
You will have completed a degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) or Law, coupled with 5-7 plus years experience in working with large scale projects within the Energy sector, with preference in the REIPPPP sector, coupled with a professional certification in Contracts Management
You will have a strong and well displayed experience in analyzing non-contractual matters, such as engineering, cost control, planning, construction, etc to support the team.
You will have proven experience in leading and directing all contractual aspects of executing projects, including risk assessments, as well as managing the company’s various registration documentation, certifications, construction permits, NOC’s and renewals
You will have sound knowledge of Power Purchase Agreements, EPC Contracts, O&M Agreements and stakeholder reporting
You will show exceptional leadership skills, as well as being able to work in a cross-functional team to ensure successful hand over of the project within the allotted deadlines and time frames, be results and solutions orientated.
You must have a valid driver’s license, own car, be able to travel between Cape Town and various Northern Cape sites and be prepared to reside on site for lengthy periods.
