Primary Objective Of The Job

Manage the AR and Collections and Billing teams in an organized and efficient manner to ensure compliance with relevant credit risk policies and procedures.

Manage customer relations to ensure all disputes and inquiries are handled and resolved within the terms of the SLA’s

Main Duties And Responsibilities

  • Supervising overall cash application and payment processing activities
  • Supervising process of reconciling matching receipts to open accounts receivable transactions
  • Managing chargeback process

  • Interfacing with customers and banks to resolve payment issues
  • Help create and achieve KPI goals, on time cash application, reduction of unapplied cash
  • Coordinate work with team in India
  • Lead motivate & develop team members
  • Coordinate timely & high quality reporting for all stakeholders

Academic Qualifications And Experience Required

  • Bachelor Degree in Finance and Accounting
  • Professional accounting qualification desirable (such as AAT or an equivalent qualification)
  • Previous relevant and demonstrable experience in understanding of the cash applications function with similar experience in a similar role preferably in BPM/services organization
  • Knowledge of credit risk, balance sheet analysis, financial exposure and credit research systems and procedures
  • Strong problem solving, documentation, research and resolution, data analysis and multi-tasking skills
  • Lean/Six Sigma exposure or equivalent desired
  • Ability to interact with leadership, key stakeholders, employees and clients in a professional manner
  • Previous experience of leading a team and having direct reports, as well as managing individual performance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Appropriate skills and tools in place
  • Specialized resource skill set with clear roles and responsibilities that provides focused services to group of countries/business units
  • Clear escalation paths for issues and disputes
