Role: Account Planner / Brand Strategist


We are looking for a Brand Strategist to conduct market research, audience research and insights mapping. To devise a brand’s foundation for creative communication/ campaign strategies to raise brand awareness, drive customer growth, improve brand’s positioning. To work closely with client servicing, creative and digital marketing teams to deliver strategic PoV for existing clients and new business pitches. A team player who has a holistic approach & can align him/herself to Brand’s & Agency’s vision. 


  • Responsible for devising the brand strategy for clients across categories to highlight the strategic point of view towards a brands problem.
  • Gain comprehensive context for integrated marketing strategies by analysing wide range of information including demographics, socio-economic and market dynamics for brands & products.
  • Conduct research using internal resources or commission research from external partners, where needed, to execute qualitative & quantitative research methods. Analyse data to discover trends and insights that can then be used to develop a successful strategy.
  • Use market and research data to monitor cultural and social trends and their impact on consumers’ attitudes, behaviour and perceptions.
  • Research the product or service to be communicated to reconcile the differences between consumers’ current perceptions of the brand/ category and brand’s current belief/ offerings.
  • Provide the creative team, with a clearly defined brief that contains concise information on the product, audience and RTB’s, for them to develop appropriate creative strategy & approach.
  • Liaison with creative, digital marketing, social and client servicing team towards developing a campaign/pitch deck.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strategic thinker & Storyteller
  • Strong written & verbal communication, analytical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Keynote
  • Genuine love for pop-culture and everything Advertising/Marketing

Experience: Minimum 2 years as Account Planner / Brand Strategist
