What will you create?

Our purpose is to build trust in society and solve important problems. Private businesses are the engine room of the australian economy. In our Private Clients team, we help private business owners and managers as they create value for stakeholders including their owners, their employees and their customers. The Private Clients Assurance team do this by helping management and directors validate the financial information they report is relevant and reliable.

You’ll help Australian businesses and not-for-profit organisations create value and improve the way they work. In doing so, you will gain an understanding of the commercial issues facing client businesses, alongside the delivery of audit services.

As an Associate in our Private Clients – Assurance team your impact will be seen by: 

• Helping clients create new value for their organisations by identifying priority areas of risk and process improvement
• Developing Financial Audit strategies and methodologies for our clients, in collaboration with relevant teams
• Enabling clients to mitigate financial risk by recognising potential problem areas
• Identifying future opportunities for clients by developing strong relationships, challenging management around financial management and risk, and anticipating their business needs

About you
 

You have a background in external audit and are skilled in audit and statutory reporting, holding an understanding of auditing and accounting standards applicable in Australia and how to effectively manage clients day-to-day.

You are interested in working with privately owned businesses and not for profit organisations.

Passionate about being at the forefront of change, you’re ready to help our Assurance team solve complex business problems, improve how systems work and provide confidence on the bigger decisions.

You’re collaborative and enjoy working in an innovative environment.
