We are now seeking a Critical Environments Product Sales Lead to take full responsibility for growing our Critical Environments and Core Engineering Product revenue and adoption across our clients in Asia. Partnering with Global Operations and Product teams, they will develop sales strategies, support operational team needs, and ensure full alignment between teams.

Sales leadership, strategy & growth

In this role, you will be part of a dynamic and rewarding client facing sales and business development team. You will strategically identify target clients by developing a client stakeholder mapping and pursuit strategy.

This role will be the APAC Sales teams’ subject matter expert for our Critical Environments and Core Engineering products within the region. You will develop a deep understanding of the market opportunity and value proposition for Data Centres in areas such as, control and monitor, infrastructure management, emergency response, mechanical/electrical/cooling, engineers, support, hardware, and inventory control while leveraging technology and products created to transform the workplace experience.

Accountable for delivering growth, you will work across our clients/accounts, as well as the open market, to expand our client footprint. To do this, you’ll need to partner with our business and service line leaders to develop a deep understanding of our capabilities.

Internal Collaborator

What value do you place on business partnerships? They help us understand our competitive positioning, products and solutions, allowing us to provide differentiation and deliver revenue. Thinking this way too, you will foster a team environment that encourages cross functionality across various internal partners and sellers.

As our Critical Environment Product Sales expert, you will manage and lead the sales development of the engineering specialty products and drive coordination with our Product leaders to manage the sales platform and pipeline reporting. Also, you’ll attend the sales pursuit debriefs to provide feedback on the sales cycle, team approach, and win themes.

Working closely with our internal Technology and Product teams, you’ll develop a strong understanding of the integration products and technology that you will be selling to our clients. You will also act as a liaison with the Engineering organisation and the Product Engineering team for continual product improvement, idea sharing, and general collaboration.

Setting us up for success

Pitches require a lot of information. As the Critical Environments Product Sales Lead, you will participate in RFP/RFI response efforts as needed; this could include collaborating on technical responses, example deliverables, presentations, staffing model development and pricing exercises.

You will need to work closely with our sales and solutions functional leadership to drive best practices within bid responses. Your expertise will be essential in establishing appropriate pricing strategies, taking the lead on contract negotiations, product demonstrations and client engagements/pitches.

Innovation and Strategising

Your job will involve designing business strategies and establishing appropriate pricing to ensure new client wins. As a Lead, you’ll encourage innovation through more need-specific engineering solutions that meet each client’s unique challenges and needs. You’ll use your expertise to bundle engineering, specialty services, products, and technical solutions for value-added offerings while managing client engagement related to the services lifecycle.

Seasoned professional

Have you been selling critical environment or data centre related products to corporate clients? Maybe it’s an innovative energy management solution or an air conditioning management product? It could be something more tangible like a gas-powered generator for a data centre?

This role needs someone with experiences in engineering products to large corporate clients. Of course, we would prefer if that was for the Critical Environments or Data Centres, but we would also consider those from adjacent environments.

Exposure to technology products will help. As will a proven record of success working with global organisations, a quick discerning of needs, and the ability to prioritise activities with the highest value and impact.

Goal-oriented

With a focus on business growth, you should be able to prospect and hunt new opportunities successfully. Are you aware of the services and technologies we incorporate that differentiates us from our competitors? Extensive technical and professional know-how of businesses and products will help you understand profitability and identify risks, a basis on which you can form effective sales strategies and achieve targets.

You should be skilled in weaving a story around innovation that helps deliver solutions aimed at customer needs.
